چکیده
Abstract Subsurface flow constructed wetland (SSFCW) is widely adopted for the removal of BOD 5 and TKN from greywater. The design SSFCW normally based on thumb rules or using a first-order reaction kinetic model. However, applicability this model system/environment-specific which necessitates assessment potential other models. In present study, experiments were planned during initial established phases to collect data assessing system-specific application plug flow, K-S* CSTRs in series rate parameters along length overall system estimated. There was no variation values parameter an phase, but increased phase. Further, these models assessed predicting error analysis. And Based average absolute RMS it concluded that are more applicable . volumetric recommended be 0.612/day (plug flow) 0.742/day (K-S*) tropical climate removal. by 0.389/day.

Wastewater Treatment Using Horizontal Subsurface Flow Constructed Wetland
The last few decades witnessed sharp focus on environment pollution and its impact on life in nature. Wetlands can be used for biological treatment of wastewater. Problem statement: Scarcity of water is considered as a global problem and Iran is one the countries which is facing water shortage problem. Pollution of water bodies restrict the availability of water for various uses. Treatment of w...
متن کاملGreywater Treatment and Reuse Using a Baffled Constructed Wetland
Water is one of the world’s most valuable resources. However it is under constant threat due to urbanization, explosive population growth and pollution. The most promising efforts to stem water crisis are to treat the wastewater in a sustainable way and reuse for non-potable applications. Grey water (GW) being highly voluminous and relatively less polluted, recycling for non-potable uses like u...
متن کاملSimulation of a subsurface vertical flow constructed wetland for CSO treatment.
Constructed wetlands (CWs) have proved to be a highly effective measure to reduce the ecological impact of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) on receiving waters. Due to the stochastic nature of the loading regime and the multitude of environmental influences, assessment of the performance of such plants requires detailed mathematical modelling. A multi-component reactive transport module (CW2D) w...
